Abstract

En hausse quasi ininterrompue depuis 2007, le cours du pétrole s’est apaisé pendant l’été. Après avoir culminé à 144,1 dollars le 3 juillet, le prix du baril de Brent a fortement chuté et est passé sous la barre psychologique des 100 dollars le 9 septembre. Au cours de la seconde moitié de ce mois, les évolutions du prix ont été très volatiles, perturbées par les craintes sur l’issue de la crise financière. [Premier paragraphe]
