Abstract

Après la reprise de 2010 et le ralentissement de 2011 et 2012, la croissance repart depuis quelques trimestres, entraînée notamment par le Brésil qui pèse pour plus d’un tiers de la zone. Pour autant, les performances restent mauvaises et les difficultés rencontrées sont nombreuses. La région se heurte de plus en plus à des contraintes de capacités productives. Dans ce contexte, le retrait des capitaux étrangers qui a suivi l’annonce de la réserve fédérale sur un changement de cap de sa politique monétaire durcit les conditions de financement de la région. Mais il s’agit davantage d’un retour à la normale qu’une crise de défiance des investisseurs étrangers vis-à-vis de la région. Il n’en demeure pas moins que plusieurs pays doivent trouver les moyens de dépasser les blocages auxquels ils sont de plus en plus confrontés, celui du manque d’investissement notamment. La croissance resterait donc contrainte autour de 2,8 % en 2013 et 2014. [Premier paragraphe]
