Abstract

Avec une progression du PIB de 8,6 %, les économies asiatiques ont encore affiché en 2006 une croissance soutenue (tableau 1). La Chine et l’Inde y ont à nouveau contribué de façon importante. Le principal facteur qui soutient cette croissance reste la vigueur du commerce extérieur avec une augmentation des exportations en valeur d’environ 19 % en 2006. Notre prévision table sur une croissance plus modérée en 2007 imputable au ralentissement américain et à l’appréciation quasi générale des monnaies asiatiques face au dollar. La croissance de la zone atteindrait 8 % en 2007 et 7,8 % en 2008. [Premier paragraphe]
