Analisi della scelta dell'aereoporto di partenza in un' area multiaeroporto: teoria e applicazione

Abstract

La scelta dell’aeroporto di partenza in contesti multiaeroporto è un tema di grande interesse non solo per il mondo accademico e per gli operatori di settore (gestori aeroportuali e compagnie aeree), ma anche per le istituzioni pubbliche. Questo lavoro approfondisce gli aspetti teorici, metodologici ed applicativi più rilevanti legati all’utilizzo dei modelli a scelta discreta, in particolare del Multinomial Logit (MNL), per studiare la scelta dell’aeroporto di partenza in aree multiaeroporto. Alla prima parte teorica e metodologica segue la descrizione di un caso studio reale, focalizzato su un area dell’Italia centrale (Emilia Romagna e Marche) nella quale si trovano quattro aeroporti in potenziale concorrenza tra loro. Gli obiettivi principali del caso studio sono riconducibili da un lato, all’individuazione degli attributi (e il relativo peso) che influenzano la scelta dell’aeroporto e dall’altro, alla valutazione delle possibili politiche di intervento.
