Poet Nigâr Han?m lived between the years 1862-1918. She was famous while living; her books were read and appreciated. Her poems translated into many languages have been published in journals in Europe and America. But unfortunately Nigâr Han?m has almost been forgotten after her death. One of the most important reasons is her ottoman written books' translation has not made yet. One of the most important themes that come into prominence is love in poet's books which were translated to contemporary Turkish by me.
