Abstract

The revolutions in Central and Eastern Europe at the turn of the 80-90-ies became the biggest political event of the second half of the XX century. They marked the collapse of the world socialist system, in which frameworks the CEE countries had developed almost half a century after the Second World War and laid the foundation for the transformation of their social system.
