Abstract

Die Stellungnahme der Arbeitsgruppe Regionaldaten verdeutlicht, dass es zwar eine Vielzahl von Regionaldatenquellen gibt. Diese befinden sich aber häufig auf einer zu hohen Aggregationsebene. Zudem erschwert der fehlende Zugriff auf existierende Regionalindikatoren für die Forschung die evidenzbasierte Politikberatung im Bereich der Regionalökonomik. Auf Basis der identifizierten Problembereiche werden Handlungsempfehlungen – bspw. im Rahmen einer höheren Transparenz des Datenangebots – vorgestellt.
