Abstract

A considerable body of research indicates that the knowledge management (KM) process is becoming more and more important for a successful business. The current paper introduces KM, its components and technologies. It also presents the advantages of using the Multi-Agent System based technology in order to realize the KM process. Taking into account the MAS advantages there are presented aspects that can be improved inside the KM process. The importance of using MAS consists in the fact that a lot of KM specific aspects can be simulated and developed by using it. The paper ends with several conclusions and future work directions.
