Abstract

The structure of the work is presented in four sections. The first section provides an overview of the world experience in modeling the electricity market, with an emphasis on considering models that describe price dynamics. The second section presents an analysis of the current state and the main problems of the Russian electricity market development. The third section presents an empirical analysis of the proposed model and its calibration. The fourth section describes the results obtained and their interpretation.
