Abstract

Analysis of the state and development of Russian education on the basis of education monitoring data, FSN results and sociological surveys is aimed at identifying the dependence of the indicators of regional educational systems on external socio-economic factors. The analysis examines the characteristics of the educational system that affect the success of young people in post-school life. The connections and dependencies identified as a result of the analysis can be used in the development of regional educational policy aimed at involving school graduates in vocational education and training, reducing youth unemployment, and increasing the economic activity of young people.
