The Mutative Interpretation. Transference Interpretation In Here-And-Now Or The Raport Between Analytic Relation And Time

This article brings forth the analytical relationship and its therapeutically outcome through the here-and-now transference interpretation, focusing on the analysts contribution as a person actively involved in the relationship . Also reveals the signification of time related to the therapeutically process , the importance of interpretation as a as a meeting point for past and present at a common dimension of understanding. The transformation generated by such an intervention constitutes a starting point for Strachey, who employs the idea of “mutative interpretation” for the first time, referring to that interpretation from analysis which modifies the patients behavior and feeling reorganizing his psychic continuums through an exchange process with the analyst. Subsequently, this contribution was augmented with aspects of the kleinian relation of object, regarding the projective and introiective identification and translating the problematic from the level of superego to the level of self.
