Vastasiko ammattikorkeakoulu-uudistus työelämän tarpeita?

Abstract

Ammattikorkeakoulututkinnon suorittaneet ovat pärjänneet hyvin työmarkkinoilla. Erityisesti vastavalmistuneilla tradenomeilla työllisyys on selvästi parempi kuin aiemmin samoista kouluista valmistuneilla merkonomeilla. Kaupan alalla uudistus kasvatti myös valmistuneiden vuosituloja. Sosiaali- ja terveysalalla sekä tekniikan ja liikenteen alalla uudistuksen vaikutus oli pieni. Teollisuudessa suurin osa amk-tutkinnon suorittaneista on sijoittunut asiantuntijoiksi.
