Suomalainen palkkarakenne. Muutokset – syyt – seuraukset

Abstract

Tulospalkkauksen yleistyminen on kasvattanut palkkaeroja Suomen yksityisellä sektorilla viime vuosina. Palkkaerot ovat kasvaneet yritysten ja toimipaikkojen sisällä eivätkä niinkään niiden välillä. Tulospalkkioiden laajempi käyttö onkin näin muovannut yksityisen sektorin palkkarakenteita, todetaan tänään ilmestyneessä Elinkeinoelämän Tutkimuslaitoksen ja Palkansaajien tutkimuslaitoksen yhteisen tutkimushankkeen loppuraportissa ”Suomalainen palkkarakenne. Muutokset – syyt – seuraukset”. Yksityisen sektorin palkkausjärjestelmissä tapahtuneet muutokset ovat erityisen voimakkaasti suurentaneet korkeampipalkkaisen, johtotehtävissä toimivan henkilöstön palkkaeroja. Palvelualoilla muutos käynnistyi 1990-luvun puolessa välissä ja teollisuudessa vasta vuosituhannen vaihteessa.
