Abstract

Näyttötutkintojen keskeisinä tavoitteina mainitaan usein tutkinnon suorittajien ammattitaidon kehittäminen, kilpailukyvyn lisääminen työmarkkinoilla ja työmahdollisuuksien parantaminen. Näyttötutkintojen ajatellaan myös parantavan yritysten imagoa henkilöstön aktiivisena kehittäjänä mahdollistaen samalla yrityksille laajemman ja monipuolisemman osaamisreservin. Tämä raportti arvioi näyttötutkintojen työelämävaikutuksia teknologiateollisuudessa, jossa kova kansainvälinen kilpailuympäristö asettaa omat erityisvaatimuksena työntekjöiden osaamiselle. Näyttötutkintojen vaikutuksia arvioidaan monipuolisesti laajojen tilastotoaineistojen sekä työnantajille ja työntekijöille osoitettujen kyselyjen avulla.
