Tuotannon Tekijät – Palkansaajien Suomi 100 vuotta

    Abstract

    100-vuotisen itsenäisyytensä aikana köyhästä ja maatalousvaltaisesta Suomesta on kasvanut teollistumisen kautta palveluvaltainen ja kansainvälistynyt maa, jossa kuusi seitsemästä työssäkäyvästä on palkansaajia. Tämä aika voidaan jakaa palkansaajien ja heidän järjestöjensä kannalta kolmeen jaksoon. Sotienvälisenä aikana valta-akseli oli hallitusten ja yritysten välillä, ja työnantajat pyrkivät yksin määräämään työehdot. Sotien jälkeen aina 1990-luvun taitteeseen asti Suomen kasvumalli oli valtiovetoinen samalla kun palkansaajajärjestöt saivat enemmän vaikutusvaltaa työmarkkinoilla ja hyvinvointivaltion rakentamisessa. Viime vuosikymmeniä ovat sävyttäneet mm. työmarkkinajärjestöjen sitoutuminen rahaliiton matalan inflaation tavoitteeseen ja hyvinvointivaltion rapauttaminen. Vielä ei ole selvää, ollaanko siirtymässä jälleen uuteen aikakauteen tulopolitiikan loppumisen ja uuden yhteiskunnallisen valta-asetelman myötä.
