Kansantalouden ja yritysten kasvuharppaus: Innovoinnissa ja rahoituksessa aihetta rationaaliseen optimismiin

Abstract

Tarkastelemme tässä kirjassa kansantalouden ja yrityskentän kasvua sekä innovoinnin ja rahoituksen roolia tässä kehityksessä. Kun analysoimme luvussa 3 kasvun osatekijöitä luvun 2 schumpeteriläisen viitekehyksen valossa, päädymme Suomen tulevaisuuden kannalta optimistiseen ja mielestämme rationaaliseen johtopäätökseen: ”pinnan alla” on jo pitkään tapahtunut innovatiivisten yritysten nousua, jonka dynamiikka on monessa kohdin vertailukelpoinen jopa Yhdysvaltojen kanssa. Löydöksemme korostavat osaamisen – erityisesti STEM-alojen – merkitystä, aineettomia investointeja, kireää kilpailua sekä liikkuvuutta ja yhteistoimintaa työmarkkinoilla. Haluamme nostaa yritysrahoituksen ja erityisesti osallistuvan omistajuuden yhteiskuntapolitiikan keskiöön. Suomen rahoitusjärjestelmän tulisi siirtyä asteittain pankki- ja julkisvetoisesta mallista suuntaan, joka painottaa oman pääoman ehtoista rahoitusta ja yksityisiä toimijoita.
