Abstract

The relation between foreign direct investment accumulated in the economy of the Republic of Belarus and the country's merchandise export was investigated in the article on the basis of econometric estimates of this indicators interdependence. It is proved that the inflow of foreign direct investment in the republic is a significant factor of its merchandise export development. At macro level the complementary relation between the foreign direct investments accumulated in the national economy and the country's merchandise export has been established.
