Abstract

The article offers a comprehensive approach to the analysis of agriculture at the meso level. This approach envisages implementation of two main stages: the classification of areas into several homogeneous groups and limiting the analysis of the factors determining the membership of an area to a certain class. The first stage envisages the construction of classification regression, and the second - the construction of the logit model multiple choice. This comprehensive approach increases the reliability of the analysis results, thereby contributing to strengthening the grounding of its results-based. The technique has been tested on data characterizing agriculture Tula region.
