Berufsabsichten und Gründungspotenzial: Thüringer Studierendenbefragung 2007 an der Technischen Universität Ilmenau

Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie hat zum Ziel, die beruflichen Vorstellungen von Studierenden sowie die entsprechenden Beweggründe empirisch zu erfassen. Grundlage hierfür bildet eine reprä-sentative Erhebung unter 673 Studierenden der Technischen Universität Ilmenau, die im Zeitraum von April bis Juni 2007 durchgeführt wurde. Die Auswertung ergab, dass die überwiegende Mehrheit der Studierenden eine Beschäftigung in einem Großunternehmen oder in einem bereits etablierten kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) anstrebt. Dabei präferieren die Befragten einen Arbeitsort in den alten Bundesländern und ziehen eine Tätig-keit im Raum Ilmenau am wenigsten in Betracht. Im Hinblick auf das Gründungspotenzial bezeichnen sich zwei Fünftel der Befragten als Gründungsinteressierte, fast zehn Prozent als Gründungswillige und knapp drei Prozent als Gründer, welches einer leichten Verbesserung im Vergleich zu vorangegangenen Befragungen entspricht.
