Abstract

The purpose of this project is to analyze the impact of mobile payments on financial inclusion in Cameroon using quasi-experimental impact evaluation methods. The results show that the use of mobile payments does increase the propensity of economic agents to hold accounts in formal financial institutions such as banks.
