Abstract

In this paper, in order to recognize the potentials of industrial sector, we used for three years: 2001-2004, a synthesis of factor analysis and numerical taxonomy for 2 digit ISIC codes to derive the priorities are used. The results point out that the industries could be sorted as follows: non-metal mine products and textiles. Moreover, basic metals and chemicals had a rapid growth, but unfortunately these results have ignored in industrial planning of Yazd province, which should be considered in planning.
