Abstract

This article discusses the modern paradigm of economic development based on the innovation component at the regional level of the Russian Federation. The current features of the innovative development of the regions of the Central Federal District are analyzed. A correlation analysis of the level of dependence of the economic growth of the regions on the key indicators of innovative activity has been carried out. The final conclusions on the topic of the study regarding the peculiarities of the impact of innovation on economic growth in the regions of the Russian Federation are formulated.
