Abstract

In the current context of globalization, international economic competition is increasingly intense and covers an increasing number of territories, for this reason the article states that competitiveness is a form of development, for which Krugman (1994) points out that when a company is not competitive, this means that its market position is unsustainable and that unless it improves its performance it will have the desired growth, of course, for this to be possible, globalization has an important role speaking of economic development because it is here where there is talk of the expansion of markets and the penetration of new spaces. Likewise, an interesting perspective is provided when globalization is understood in spatial terms such as the shedding of interplanetary connections between people, also in addition to this, the way to relate the franchise in the field of entrepreneurship, business management and the economy is sought .
