Die Landwirtschaft in den drei EU-Mitgliedsstaaten Finnland, Schweden und Österreich : ein statistischer Überblick

Abstract

Am 1. Januar 1995 sind Finnland, Schweden und Österreich der Europäischen Union beigetreten. Um einen Einblick in die Situation im landwirtschaftlichen Sektor der drei neuen Mitgliedstaaten zu schaffen und ihre Position innerhalb der Europäischen Union darzulegen, wurde im Rahmen eines Praktikums beim Statistischen Amt der Europäischen Gemeinschaften (EUROSTAT) dieser statistische Überblick erstellt. Der Bericht beschreibt in seinem ersten Teil die wirtschaftliche Bedeutung der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion in diesen Ländern, analysiert ihre Zusammensetzung und zeigt die Entwicklung einzelner Produkte in den letzten 15 Jahren. Im zweiten Teil wird die Einkommenssituation in der Landwirtschaft Finnlands, Schwedens und Österreichs beurteilt. Dabei wird besonders auf die Bedeutung einzelner Positionen, insbesondere der Steuern und Subventionen, für das landwirtschaftliche Einkommen eingegangen, und durch ihre Veränderungen die Einkommensentwicklung erklärt. In beiden Teilen wird auf Veränderungen, die im Beitrittsjahr 1995 zu beobachten waren, gesondert eingegangen. In beiden Teilen werden die jeweils beschriebenen Resultate den Daten der Europäischen Union der 12 Mitglieder (EUR12) zum Vergleich gegenübergestellt und auf Entwicklungen, die nach dem Beitritt im Jahr 1995 zu beobachte waren, gesondert eingegangen.
