Finanzkapital der Firma Siemens und Halske in Georgien im 19. Jahrhundert

Abstract

Der vorgestellte Beitrag erforscht die wirtschaftlichen Tätigkeiten des großen deutschen Unternehmens Siemens und Halske in Georgien in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Diesbezüglich sind in der Arbeit die folgenden Schwerpunkte gesetzt worden: - Erforschung des Wirkens der Firma Siemens und Halske und seiner Folgen; - Darstellung der positiven und negativen Seiten des Einflusses auf die georgische Wirtschaft. Die wissenschaftliche und praktische Relevanz kann wie folgt formuliert werden: - Es wird begründet, dass die Firma Siemens und Halske durch ihre Aktivitäten in Georgien (Bau von Telegrafenleitungen, Einführung einer Reihe von Neuheiten in der Kupfer- und Erdölproduktion) eine entscheidende Rolle in der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung des Landes spielte; - Die Aktivitäten der Firma, deren positive und negative Seiten sowie ihr Einfluss auf die georgische Wirtschaft werden im Einzelnen charakterisiert.
