Simulador de Mercados de Oligopólio

Abstract

Este artigo pretende divulgar a criação de um simulador de mercados de oligopólio e de concorrência imperfeita baseado na Teoria dos Jogos e na Organização Industrial. Procura-se, através de uma análise estática comparativa, examinar o comportamento estratégico de empresas detentoras de poder de mercado e as consequências de tal comportamento em termos de bem-estar. O simulador engloba Modelos Económicos de concorrência pelas quantidades, concorrência pelos preços, situações de liderança, adopção de comportamentos predatórios, conluio, etc. É propósito deste artigo esclarecer os objectivos e aplicações que podem ser dadas ao simulador e explicar o seu modo de funcionamento de uma forma breve e sucinta.
