Demographic Problems In Poland And Some European Union

    This paper concerns the various demographic problems in Poland and in selected countries of the European Union. These issues are one of the main challenges that face the need to present both national economies and the global economy. The paper presents the changes in the structure of the population in the countries that joined the European Union together with the Polish. In view of the relevant literature is presented describing this issue, among which deserves special attention Michal Kubiak publication "Today's demographic problems in terms of socio-economic development". Moreover, a statistical data, which originated in the Eurostat and on the basis of their analyzes, and describes the changes taking place in some countries since 2005. The article suggests that the problem of aging stems from the declining fertility rate, lengthening the life expectancy of the population, as well as the declining birth rate. All presented data affect the structure of the population. It also noted the negative impact of the changes on the public finances of the country, limited investment or labor market. Due to so many consequences should pay particular attention to the growing problem.
