Abstract

A tanulmány a szerzők által Magyarországa kifejlesztett makroökonometriai modellt mutatja be, ami rövid távú előrejelzési és gazdaságpolitikai elemzési céllal készült. Mivel a rövid távú fókusz miatt a keresleti hullámzások, vagyis az üzleti ciklusok állnak az összefüggésrendszer középpontjában, a modell endogén változói a trendszűrt adatok, vagyis a gap-ek. A trend és a ciklikus szétválasztása Hodrick-Prescott szűrővel történik. A modell öt fő blokkból áll: kínálati, keresleti, munkapiaci, ár-árfolyam-kamat és államháztartási blokkból. A teljes modell viselkedését impulzusválasz függvények segítségével tesztelik a szerzők. A külső környezetben megfigyelhető bizonytalansági tényezők mellett a gazdaságpolitikai akciók (monetáris és fiskális sokkok) hatásai is számszerűsítésre kerülnek. Az egyes impulzusokra adott válaszreakciók megfelelnek az elméleten alapuló várakozásoknak, emellett azonban tükröznek bizonyos hazai jellegzetességeket is. A modell előrejelző képessége, összehasonlítva más (ARIMA, VAR) modellezési technikákkal, jónak mondható, különösen az éven túli időhorizontok esetén.
