Abstract

definisi UMKM tidak selaras antara satu negara dengan negara Iainnya dan tidak selaras pula definisi yg dibentuk oleh banyak sekali forum dunia. Tidak terdapat suatu kesepakatan terhadap definisi UMKM. Umumnya, UMKM didefinisikan menurut kriteria dan ciri yang bisa berupa jumlah tenaga kerja yang dipergunakan, jumlah kapital dan omzet berdasarkan kegiatan yang dihasilkan, serta bisa jua didefinisikan menurut karakteristik UMKM, seperti skala bisnis, teknologi yang digunakan, organisasi dan manajemen, orientasi pasar, dan Iain sebagainya.
