Abstract

Penyebab konflik tanah merupakan faktor mendasar Yang menyebabkan terjadinya konflik tanah. Penting untuk mengidentifikasi dan menginventarisasi akar konflik tanah. Menyelesaikan semua konflik yang ada, pemerintah dapat menggunakan jalur mediasi dengan mempertemukan pihak-pihak yang berkonflik dan membicarakannya secara kekeluargaan. Hal yang sama juga berlaku bagi pemerintah dalam penyelesaian sengketa tanah/sengketa tanah. Mediasi sebagai bentuk penyelesaian sengketa terutama terjadi di wilayah privat/perdata. Sengketa perdata berupa sengketa keluarga, waris, harta benda, kontrak, perbankan, bisnis, lingkungan hidup dan masih banyak lagi sengketa lainnya dapat diselesaikan melalui mediasi.
