Hampir setiap hari kita mendapatkan berbagai bentuk ajakan menggunakan hak pilih pada pemilu yang akan digelar pada 9 April nanti. Tidak hanya KPU, para pemangku kepentingan seperti partai politik, caleg dan ormas juga turut andil mengingatkan masyarakat agar memilih para wakil mereka untuk masa lima tahun mendatang. Ajakan-ajakan tersebut nampaknya cukup ramai di berbagai media massa dan elektronik. Berbagai spanduk dan baliho pun ikut menghiasi ruang-ruang publik dengan pesan yang sama. Pesan utamanya adalah agar masyarakat tidak golput (paragraph 1).
