Abstract

Hadits adalah salah satu sumber hukum Islam setelah al-Qur’an yang dimana hadis berkedudukan sebagai penjelas/tabyin dari al-Qur’an. Maksud dari berbagai ilmu ini adalah untuk memecahkan pertentangan dalam hadis-hadis Nabi. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah dengan menggabungkan kedua hadis tersebut secara kompromis, atau dengan menerapkan prinsip pembatalan (nasakh) jika diketahui alasan munculnya (asbab al-wurud) dari masing-masing hadis tersebut, dengan memberikan kekuatan lebih pada salah satu hadis jika memungkinkan. Jika tidak ada cara lain untuk menyelesaikannya, maka solusi terakhir adalah menunda keputusan (bertawaqquf). Dalam artikel ini, penulis akan menjelaskan beberapa hadis yang terlihat bertentangan, yang mengakibatkan perbedaan pendapat di kalangan para ulama.
