Abstract

Kebijakan diartikan sebagai peraturan dan tindakan yang diambil oleh para pemimpin untuk berupaya mencapai tujuan yang telah ditargetkan. Begitu pula dalam konteks kegiatan perekonomian dibutuhkan sebuah kebijakan yang mengatur dan mengoordinasikan kegiatan dan aktivitas ekonomi. Kebijakan moneter berperan dalam mengendalikan jumlah uang beredar menggunakan instrumen moneter tertentu melalui transmisi moneter dengan tujuan akhir, sebagaimana yang utama adalah pencapaian stabilitas harga. Fokus utama kebijakan moneter dalam Islam yakni pada pemeliharaan perputaran sumber daya dengan hukum-hukum syariah seperti ketiadaan suku bunga dalam ekonomi, sehingga tidak ada lagi alasan bagi para pemegang dana untuk menahan uangnya di pasar keuangan.
