Abstract

Masalah kekurangan gizi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya Pemberian Makanan Pendamping Air Susu Ibu (MPASI) yang kurang tepat. MPASI merupakan makanan peralihan dari ASI ke makanan keluarga diberikan kepada anak usia 6–24 bulan secara bertahap jenis, frekuensi pemberian, jumlah porsi dan bentuk makanan yang disesuaikan dengan usia dan kemampuan bayi dalam mencerna makanan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan gizinya). MPASI secara kualitas harus terpenuhi energi, protein, dan mikronutrien dengan secara seimbang agar dapat tumbuh dengan optimal.
