Abstract

Etika dalam Bahasa Yunani Etika berasal dari bahasa Yunani, etos. Artinya kebiasaan (costum), atau adat. perbuatan. Ditinjau dari sudut asal katanya, etika lebih kepada studi terhadap kebiasaan manusia. Yang mana membahas semua kebiasaan (adat) berdasarkan pada sesuatu yang melekat pada kodrat manusia itu sendiri. *Etika dalam bahasa Arab Etika sepadan dengan kata akhlaq (لقََخَْأ (dan padanannya di dalam Al-Qur'anialah khuluq (قُخل .( ُHal tersebut dapat dipahami dalam penjelasan Q.S. Al-QalamAyat 4:61وَاِنَّكَ لَعَلٰى خُلُقٍ عَظِيْمٍDan sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar berbudi pekerti yang agung.Menurut M. Quraish Shihab, Ayat di atas menjelaskan tentang pengangkatan Nabi Muhammad SAW menjadi Rasul utusan Allah جل جلاله
