Abstract

Meskipun kenyataan terciptanya koperasi yang ideal masih jauh dari cita-cita, namun semangat untuk menjadikan koperasi sebagai tuan rumah di negeri sendiri tentu tidak boleh padam. Berhubungan dengan konsep pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia dan tuntutan UUD 1945, koperasi masih dan akan selalu dipandang sebagai salah satu elemen ekonomi yang penting dan strategis. Agar mampu mengemban amanah tersebut maka sudah seharusnya dunia perkoperasian di Indonesia yang dimotori oleh pemerintah dan segenap stakeholder perkoperasian berbenah diri. Koperasi harus mampu membangun kekuatan baru, memperbaiki kelemahan dan tetap menjadi badan usaha yang mempunyai tujuan memajukan kesejahteraan masyarakat (mereduksi kemiskinan dan pengangguran). Beberapa solusi yang disampaikan di atas seharusnya perlu menjadi pertimbangan dan diimplementasikan
