Abstract

Global Currency Initiative (GCI) merintis sebuah sistem mata uang internasional yang demokratis dan terdesentralisasi. Namanya “sistem organik”. Sistem organik adalah sistem mata uang internasional yang dibangun dan dikelola bersama-sama oleh seluruh negara di dunia, atau negara anggota, dan menjadi bagian dari mata uang nasional masing-masing. Sistem organik mengeluarkan alat pembayaran internasional yang disebut “mata uang organik”. Mata uang organik hanya digunakan untuk transaksi antar negara anggota. Negara non anggota tidak bisa menggunakan mata uang organik. Transaksi domestik tetap menggunakan mata uang nasional masing-masing. Nilai tukar antara mata uang organik dan nasional menggunakan sistem “penyeimbang otomatis” yang sepenuhnya fleksibel mengikuti fundamental sehingga tidak memerlukan integrasi ekonomi. Hubungan antara mata uang internasional dengan nasional adalah organik (menjadi bagian) dan hibrid (bisa dikonversi). Sistem organik seluruhnya digital, menggunakan teknologi (semi) otomatisasi dan (semi) terdesentralisasi.
