Abstract

Meskipun sebagian besar UMKM tidak terlibat secara langsung pada kegiatan bisnis global (ekspor dan impor). Akan tetapi, tidak sedikit dari kegiatan bisnis global justru diperankan oleh bisnis berskala UMKM. Kegiatan ekspor yang awalnya dikumpulkan atau bersumber dari usaha UMKM memberi andil yang cukup signifikan terhadap usaha hilir untuk usaha berskala besar, sebut saja di sektor perikanan dan kelautan, industri kerajinan, dan lain sebagainya.
