Abstract

Skype adalah layanan komunikasi yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk saling terhubung melalui obrolan video mengalami rise dan fall. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan kenaikan (rise) dan penurunan (fall) pada bisnis Skype. Studi ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal pada bisnis Skype yang bergerak di bidang teknologi dengan analisis business model canvas, business pattern, business environment & value proposition canvas. Bisnis teknologi ini pernah tren dan memiliki pertumbuhan yang super sukses karena memiliki value proposition konsumen karena berhasil membuat aplikasi panggilan video dengan jaringan yang stabil. Namun, bisnis teknologi ini mengalami penurunan karena key activities karena dunia yang terus berkembang namun fitur-fitur yang dimiliki oleh Skype tidak mengalami peningkatan. Studi merekomendasikan key activities dengan terus berinovasi agar tetap digunakan dan layak.
