Abstract

Biaya produksi merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan ketika suatu perusahaan akan menghasilkan suatu produksi. Hal ini dikarenakan setiap perusahaan tentu menginginkan keuntungan yang besar dalam setiap usaha produksinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya suatu pemahaman tentang teori-teori biaya produksi agar suatu perusahaan dapat memperhitungkan biaya-biaya yang akan dikeluarkan untuk menghasilkan suatu output barang. Biaya produksi adalah semua pengeluaran perusahaan untuk memperoleh faktor-faktor produksi yang akan digunakan untuk menghasilkan barang-barang produksi oleh perusahaaan tersebut. Untuk analisis biaya produksi perlu diperhatikan dua jangka waktu, yaitu (1) jangka panjang, yaitu jangka waktu dimana semua faktor produksi dapat mengalami perubahan, dan (2) jangka pendek, yaitu jangka waktu dimana sebagian faktor produksi daoat berubah dan sebagian lainnya tidak dapat berubah.
