Abstract

Tenaga kerja ikut berperan penting dalam pembangunan nasional. Pendapatan belanja negara salah satunya ikut ditentukan dari sektor perekonomian yang di dalamnya ada peran tenaga kerja. Oleh karena itu, tenaga kerja dalam keahlian dan keterampilannya, perlu diberikan perlindungan, pemeliharaan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan sebagai suatu penghargaan kepada setiap tenaga kerja, terutama di sektor industri batik. Hal ini bisa dilaksanakan melalui pemberian asuransi kesehatan, sehingga risiko fisik, risiko kimia, risiko biologi, ergonomi dan psikologi dapat dialihkan ke perusahaan asuransi. Tenaga kerja juga merasa aman dan nyaman dalam melakukan tugasnya, dapat mengurangi beban risiko pada pengusaha batik, dan ke depannya dapat meningkatkan produktifitas nasional
