Abstract

Pada masa pemerintahan Dinasti Umayyah yang hampir mencapai satu abad, lebih tepatnya 90 tahun lamanya. Terdapat beberapa khalifah yang berhasil dalam menjalankan masa kepemerintahannya. Dilihat dari banyaknya khalifah yang memimpin dan dari masa kepemimpinan Dinasti Umayyah, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa Dinasti Umayyah sangat agresif dalam perpolitikan pada waktu itu. Dalam jangka waktu 90 tahun, banyak negara dari berbagai penjuru masuk dalam kekuasaan Islam, yaitu tanah Spanyol, Persia, Afganistan, India dan negara-negara lainnya.
