Abstract

kebijakan pemerintah harus memberikan fondasi bagi UMKM untuk meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitifnya. Untuk meraih kesuksesan kompetitif, Porter sangat menekankan bahwa perusahaan dari suatu negara harus memiliki suatu keunggulan kompetitif dalam bentuk biaya rendah atau produk yang berbeda atau unik. Agar keunggulan yang dimiliki berlanjut, perusahaan harus dikelola secara efisien dan menyediakan produk dan jasa berkualitas tinggi. Ini berarti, produktivitas UMKM harus terus ditingkatkan sepanjang waktu. Dalam konteks Indonesia, teori Porter dapat diadopsi untuk mencari format kebijakan pemerintah yang tepat sasaran bagi peningkatan akses, khususnya akses pemasaran produk UMKM. Strategi generik yang dipilih hendaknya sesuai dengan kondisi UMKM sebagai pelaku bisnis.
