Abstract

Franchise atau waralaba adalah metode mendistribusikan produk atau layanan yang melibatkan Franchisor sebagai pemilik merek dagang atau nama dagang dan sistem bisnis. Franchisee atau penerima waralaba, yang membayar royalti dan seringkali biaya investasi awal untuk mendapatkan hak atas kekayaan intelektual di bawah nama dan sistem franchisor. Alasan Franchise adalah bisnis terbaik untuk pemula adalah karena bisnis franchise minim resiko dibandingkan dengan memulai bisnis yang baru Karena perusahaan-perusahaan franchise memiliki model bisnis yang telah teruji dan terbukti efektif. Selain itu, kita juga tidak perlu berkali-kali mengeluarkan modal usaha karena umumnya usaha tipe ini memberlakukan sistem pembayaran di awal. Selain minim risiko, bisnis franchise juga memiliki peluang keberhasilan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bisnis mandiri
