Abstract

Pendidikan mempunyai tugas menyiapkan sumber daya manusia untuk pembangunan. Derap langkah pembangunan selalu diupayakan seirama dengan tuntutan zaman. Perkembangan zaman selalu memunculkan tantangan-tantangan baru, yang sebagiannya sering tidak dapat diramalkan sebelumnya. Sebagai konsekuensi logis, pendidikan selalu dihadapkan pada masalah-masalah baru. Masalah yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan itu demikian luas, pertama karena sifat sasarannya yaitu manusia sebagai makhluk misteri, kedua karena usaha pendidikan harus mengantisipasi ke hari depan yang tidak segenap seginya terjangkau oleh daya ramal manusia. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya rumusan-rumusan masalah-masalah pokok yang dapat dijadikan pendidik dalam mengemban tugasnya.
