Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of work environment and individual characteristics on employee performance at the BPS of West Sumatera Province. Independent variables from this study are work environment and individual characteristics. The research method used is quantitative research. In this study the population amounted to 75 people who are all BPS employees of West Sumatera. The results of this study is there is a significant relationship between the Work Environment (X1) and Employee Performance (Y), Improving the work environment will affect employee performance and there is a significant relationship between Individual Characteristics (X2) with Employee Performance (Y) Meaning the better the individual characteristics make the employee's performance will be higher.
