Abstract

Ekonomi moneter merupakan suatu cabang ilmu ekonomi membahas tentang peranan yang dalam mempengaruhi tingkat harga harga dan tingkat ekonomi dalam suatu negara. Secara khusus, ekonomi moneter juga mempelajari mengenai sifat, fungsi, peranan uang, dan pengaruh uang pada aktivitas perekonomian sebuah negara. Singkatnya, ekonomi moneter berbicara mengenai “uang”. Seperti halnya pasar uang, mekanisme penciptaan uang, peranan uang, tingkat bunga, inflasi, hingga kebijakan moneter dan persoalan krisis keuangan.
