Abstract

Problematika finansial sering melanda kalangan mahasiswa. Maka dari itu kami memiliki sebuah konsep aplikasi yang berisi sebuah solusi dari problematika yang dialami mahasiswa. Dari konsep tersebut kami melakukan sebuah penelitian dengan tujuan mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh apabila direalisasi kan sebuah aplikasi yang berfokus pada pengelolaan finansial mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 mahasiswa Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Peneliatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta diuraikan dalam bentuk diskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah wawancara. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara mengelompokkan ke dalam kategori dan mendiskripsikan data yang diperoleh sesuai dengan kategori. Penelitian ini memperoleh data bahwa hampir seluruh subjek memiliki tingkat konsumtif yang cukup tinggi dan belum dapat membedakan antara kebutuhan dan keinginan. Faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah gaya hidup yang tidak sesuai dengan kantong, gengsi yang cukup tinggi, persepsi, kelas sosial, sikap pendirian dan kepercayaan.
