Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, Menengah) adalah sektor ekonomi nasional yg paling strategis & menyangkut hajat hidup orang banyak, sehingga sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian nasional. UMKM juga merupakan kelompok pelaku ekonomi terbesar pada perekonomian pada Indonesia & telah terbukti sebagai kunci pengaman perekonomian nasional pada masa krisis ekonomi, dan sebagai dinamisator pertumbuhan ekonomi pasca krisis. Itu artinya, bisnis mikro yg memiliki omset penjualan kurang dari satu milyar, & bisnis kecil memiliki omset penjualan dalam kisaran satu milyar, dan bisnis menengah menggunakan omsetpenjualan pada atas satu milyar pertahun, memiliki peran yg sangat besar pada proses pembangunan bangsa ini.
