Abstract

Kehadiran ekonomi Islam di era kekinian, telah membuahkan hasil dengan banyak diwacanakan kembali ekonomi Islam dalam teori-teori, dan dipraktikkannya ekonomi Islam di ranah bisnis modern seperti halnya lembaga keuangan syariah bank dan non bank. Ekonomi Islam yang telah hadir kembali saat ini, bukanlah suatu hal yang tiba-tiba datang begitu saja. Ekonomi Islam sebagai sebuah cetusan konsep pemikiran dan praktik telah hadir secara bertahap dalam periode dan fase tertentu. Pemikiran ekonomi Islam sebenarnya sudah diawali sejak Muhammad SAW dipilih menjadi seorang Rasul. Rasulullah SAW mengeluarkan kebijakan-kebijakan yang menyangkut berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan hidup bermasyarakat, yang kemudian dilanjutkan oleh penggantinya, Khulafaur Rasyidin serta khalifah selanjutnya dalam menata ekonomi negara
